Yiayia's Cottage is a treasure that has been in the Afendoulis family for over 50 years. In that time, our property has proved to be a wonderful setting where lodgers can make memories, enjoy nature, and embrace time with loved ones. Our family is now opening the doors of Yiayia's Cottage to those who are looking for a delightful, Greek-style getaway in the beautiful, Grand Haven area.
As a family-run property, we hope to make all of our guests feel at home when they rent with us. If you need anything to make your stay at Yiayia's Cottage more comfortable, we are just a phone call away.
When you stay at our cottage, you are treated like one of the family. We will make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time in Grand Haven.
You are our guests, but unfortunately, accidents can happen. As a precaution, we require a security deposit to cover the cost of any unforseen damages.
After you check out, our cleaning company immediately enters to service the accomodations and wash all bedding in order to prepare for the next renters.
While we provide linen for your beds and towels for your use, we do not offer toiletries on site. Please bring your own soaps, shampoos, conditioners, shaving supplies, and any other toiletries you require during your stay.
In true Greek fashion, someone is always cooking in our house. We want you to enjoy preparing meals in our kitchen as if it were your own, which is why we have supplied a variety of cooking and dining necessities. Please inform us if there is something that you would like to see added.
At Yiayia's Cottage, trash removal takes place every Thursday morning. Guests are responsible for moving the trash bins to the curbside on Wednesday evenings so that we can maintain a clean, comfortable property for all of our renters.
If you should leave the cottage during the time of your stay or upon checkout, please make sure all thermostats are set to 55 degrees. This is especially important during the winter months.
